Update of the cadastral value for rural properties
Are you buying or selling rural properties?
The government's tax reform will cause an increase in your taxes on occasional profits as follows:
Regarding occasional profits, a Colombian who sells a property must pay tax on the profit obtained. For example, if the property is valued at 200 million pesos, but the commercial value received by the seller is 400 million, the tax to be paid will fall on the 200 million pesos that are the difference between the cadastral value and the commercial value of the property .
At Azor Tecnología we can provide advice on how to minimize the impact of this part of the new tax reform.
